Resume Builder

GeekHub's resume builder is completely free — no account required, no watermarks, no export limits. Go to geekhub.in/resume/builder.

Getting Started

The builder has two sections:

  1. Editor (left panel) — fill in your details
  2. Preview (right panel) — live preview of your resume as you type

Changes appear in real time. No save button needed — your work is preserved in your browser session.

Sections

Personal Details

Name, job title, email, phone, location, LinkedIn, GitHub, portfolio URL. Fill in what's relevant — you don't need to include everything.

Summary

2-3 sentences about your experience and what you're looking for. Keep it factual. Avoid generic phrases like "passionate developer" — instead say what you actually build.

Experience

For each role:

  • Company, job title, start/end date (or "Present")
  • 3-5 bullet points on what you did and the impact

Use the AI Improve button to get suggested rewrites for any bullet point. The AI rewrites bullets to be action-oriented and outcome-focused (e.g., "Built API" → "Built REST API handling 50K daily requests, reducing latency by 40%").

Education

Degree, institution, graduation year. Add CGPA only if it's 8.0+.

Skills

List your tech stack. Group them logically: Languages, Frameworks, Databases, Tools, Cloud.

Projects

Side projects, open source contributions, hackathon wins. Include a GitHub/live link if available.

Templates

Choose from 5 templates at geekhub.in/resume/templates:

TemplateBest for
ModernMid-level and senior engineers
CorporateEnterprise and FAANG applications
CreativeDesign-focused or startup roles
ATS-FriendlyCompanies using applicant tracking systems
Indian ITTCS, Infosys, Wipro, and similar service companies

Switch templates without losing your data — your content carries over.

Exporting

Download your resume as:

  • PDF — recommended for sending to companies
  • DOCX — if the company's portal requires Word format

Both exports are high quality and print-ready.

Saving Your Resume

If you're signed in, your resume is saved automatically and accessible from your profile. You can have multiple resume drafts.

You can also get a shareable link — a public URL you can send directly to recruiters.

AI Resume Review

Use the AI tools section (geekhub.in/ai-tools) to run a full Resume Checker — it scores your resume and gives specific suggestions for improvement.
